ABOUT
CEMETERY COLLEGE
Cemetery College traces its
history back to the founding of the Independent Gnostic Church
of Dakota in in September 1999, prophetically, The Grand Gnostic
Father predicted the end of the world on December 31st 1999
after World War Four. |
OUR LEADER
Grand Gnostic Father |
After the world did not
end, the Grand Gnostic Father had a vision that the Independent
Gnostic Church of Dakota needed to sponsor a college. This
was done by numerous religious groups in the Americas and the
IGCD was not to be left out. The first meetings for the
college were held in a small cemetery since the congregation was
evicted from its home. Those in the congregation who had
special skills started programs in: Survival, Country Music,
Cooking, and Pro-wrestling. No other college can boast of
the tremendously unique degree offerings found at Cemetery
College. |
For the first three weeks,
classes themselves were held in the bitterly frigid cemetery.
In March 2000, the church was given its Dakota Campus by a
retired farmer who didn't want to see the building decay.
In 2003, the college acquired the Idaho campus after a tax sale.
The first class (qualifying for associates degree level status)
began studies in July 2005 and the online feature was added in
late 2006. Cemetery College received accreditation from
the North American
Association of Unaccredited Colleges in December 2007 after
a lengthy process. In 2008, the Cemetery College Seminary
will welcome its first class. Bury your past and start
anew with Cemetery College today.
