HUMBLE BEGINNINGS DENOTE HONESTY

Alabama Pacific College Campus in 1997

In 1996, a preliminary meeting of several Unaccredited Southern For-Porfit Schools gave birth to a concept of unaccredited accreditation.  In 1997, nine colleges came together in Rodgers Trailer Park, Arkansas to create the NAAUCU.

History of the  NAAUCU

The North American Association of Unaccredited Colleges and Universities was founded in Rodgers, Arkansas in 1997.  Without accreditation, these institutions found it difficult to fight the discrimination and bigotry directed at non-accredited schools.  Many have been purchased/reorganized or are no longer in operation, but their sacrifice will not be forgotten.  The pioneering schools are listed in their place of honor below.
